Highway Murder Of Woman Cracked, Two Arrested

Two people involved in a grisly murder which took place a few days ago, were arrested here. On Wednesday evening, the police revealed the details of the case. A few days back, a woman was murdered on the national highway of Bengaluru and Srikakulam. A lorry driver heard the screams of a woman and found two people killing the lady. When the driver and cleaner tried to catch them, the accused attacked them and escaped. Based on the information given by the driver, the police reached the spot and started probing the case based on the evidence of number of the bike used by the accused. The deceased was identified as Zaheda Begum from Tappachabutra.

The accused Mohd Hussain Shah from Natraj Nagar works as a copper polish worker. The victim was a co-worker and also used to give money for interest. Hussain Shah borrowed Rs 50,000 from her. Zaheda Begum went to his house and argued with him for not paying the interest over the past few months. Hussain hatched a plan to kill her for humiliating him at his house. He joined hands with Syed Abid Ali to kill her. They both took her to a secluded place near national highway and hacked her to death by stabbing with knife.

On Wednesday, the police suspected Mohd Hussain in Afzalgunj and took him to custody. Based on the details given by him, his associate Abid Ali was also traced and arrested. Later they were both sent for remand.
