Nayanthara's Netrikann remake of Korean film
Amongst the bunch of films lined up, Nayanthara has signed yet another project in Tamil which is said to be a thriller. Titled Netrikann, the film will be produced her beau Vignesh Shivan and would be directed by Milind Rau. The announcement about the film was made recently on social media and fans expect Nayan to deliver another stunner of a performance. And amidst all these activities, reports reveal that the film could be a remake. News has it that Netrikann is a remake of a Korean film titled Blind which is a thriller.

Netrikann would have Nayanthara playing a visually challenged police officer and a dog plays a crucial role in the plot. This is similar to the plot of Korean film Blind and speculations are rife that the plot is indeed a remake. However, it is expected that the remake will have changes to it to suit the tastes of South Indian audience. Reportedly, it was Nayanthara who suggested the plot to Milind Rau who further worked on it.

Netrikann is the title of a Rajinikanth film which released in 1981 and this has made fans very excited. The film features the superstar in dual roles and was one of the biggest hits of the decade back then. With the makers opting for the same title, fans are super elated about this film. It is also being speculated that Nayanthara would be seen playing a blind role in Netrikann. However, the makers yet to make an official announcement regarding this.
