Shanesha Taylor, who left her small children in a hot car in August while she went to a job interview, must appear in court Dec. 10 on felony abuse charges.
The Maricopa County prosecutor's office had stipulated she set aside $40,000-$60,000 in donations for a trust fund for her children. If she did so, and met other conditions, the charges would be dropped.
Originally, the amount was set at $60,0000 but the prosecutor's office offered to reduce the amount to $40,000.
Taylor received more than $114,000 from the public after her March arrest drew media attention.
She said she had spent $42,000 of the money on child care and other necessary living expenses but she hasn't provided any documentation to the court. Taylor said she was still searching for a job.
Before the session ended, her attorney, Benjamin Taylor, asked to terminate representation.
