Rajinikanth lands in trouble, walks towards Hindutva?
Astonishing actor Rajinikanth has landed in the trouble after passing comments on social activist Periyar. On the 14th of January, Rajini has attended the 50th anniversary of a Tamil magazine Thuglak, and commented that Periyar in 1971 has insulted Lord Ram and Sita's portraits with a slipper garland on roads.

Erode Venkatappa Ramasamy, commonly known as Periyar, was an Indian social activist and politician. He started the Self-Respect Movement and Dravidar Kazhagam. He is known as the 'Father of the Dravidian Movement.

People have objected to Rajini's comments and demanded an apology from him. But Rajini stated that he sticks to his statements, and no going back in this issue.

With this, the issue has fumed rigorously, and protesters have surrounded the house of Rajini. A high security is arranged at his house, and the government has deployed additional forces to control the situations.
