'Stree 2' Joins Elite 500 Crore Club with Impressive Collections

'Stree 2,' directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Shraddha Kapoor, has joined the 500 crore club. Released on August 15, 2024, the horror-comedy has received positive reviews and impressive box office collections. It has earned over 502 crores nett in India and 593 crores worldwide. This achievement places it among the ranks of only four other Hindi films to reach this milestone: "Pathan," "Jawan," "Gadar 2," and "Animal," with "Baahubali 2" (Hindi) also surpassing 500 crores.

The film features Rajkumar Rao as the lead, with Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles, and Varun Dhawan in a cameo. Written by Niren Bhatt, it is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Desh Pandey and is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural universe.
