Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar The Revenge overseas box office success
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, continues its remarkable box office run, delivering strong performance both domestically and internationally.
Since its release, the film has maintained positive word-of-mouth and steady audience turnout. It is now rapidly progressing toward the Rs 1500 crore mark worldwide. Notably, the film has achieved impressive success in overseas markets within a short span.
According to trade estimates, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has grossed approximately $38.5 million (around Rs 360 crore) internationally in just 13 days. This achievement is particularly significant given that the film was not released in Gulf countries, traditionally considered a major revenue source for Indian cinema.
Despite the absence of the Gulf market, the film has performed exceptionally well across other regions. It has reportedly set new benchmarks in East Asian territories, including China, where it has recorded one of the highest overseas grosses for an Indian film.
In North America, the film is steadily approaching the benchmark set by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Additionally, it has emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film in markets such as Australia and Canada.
Interestingly, even during the ongoing Indian Premier League season, theatre occupancy has remained strong, indicating sustained audience interest.
The film has already become the biggest overseas hit of Ranveer Singh’s career and is expected to continue its upward trajectory. With its current momentum, industry analysts anticipate that the film could soon approach the Rs 2000 crore milestone globally.
