Dhurandhar Box Office Day 17: Rs 845 Cr Worldwide, Biggest Hindi Film of 2025

The worldwide box office performance of Dhurandhar on its 17th day has been nothing short of extraordinary. The Ranveer Singh-led film has officially emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi movie of 2025, surpassing all competitors released so far this year.

Within just 17 days of release, Dhurandhar has crossed the impressive Rs 800 crore milestone globally. The Aditya Dhar directorial achieved this feat with remarkable ease, signaling strong audience demand and sustained momentum. By Sunday night, the film had overtaken Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava to claim the top position among Hindi releases of the year.

Dhurandhar Box Office Performance

The film delivered an exceptional third weekend at the Indian box office, collecting more than Rs 95 crore net over three days. This brought its total domestic earnings after 17 days to Rs 555.75 crore net, translating to approximately Rs 666.75 crore gross.

International markets have also contributed significantly to the film’s success. Following a sharp surge in overseas collections around ten days ago, Dhurandhar has continued to perform strongly abroad. Trade analysts estimate that the Ranveer Singh starrer has earned close to $20 million internationally so far, in addition to its massive India collections.

Worldwide Collection and Records

As of day 17, Dhurandhar has amassed an estimated Rs 845 crore worldwide. Notably, the film even outperformed the Hollywood release Avatar: Fire and Ash during direct competition at the Indian box office.

With this achievement, Dhurandhar now holds the record for the highest worldwide gross by any Hindi film released in 2025. It has surpassed Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Vicky Kaushal, which concluded its theatrical run earlier this year with a worldwide total of Rs 807 crore.

The film is also on track to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 overall. It is expected to soon overtake Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, which earned Rs 852 crore globally. Industry experts predict that Dhurandhar will cross the Rs 900 crore mark within the week and may reach Rs 1000 crore before the New Year if current trends continue.
