Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated movie Dhurandhar has defied all box office expectations. Released on December 5, the film crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone by its third day.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 43 crore on Sunday, bringing its total collection to Rs 103 crore. The movie had a strong opening day, earning Rs 28 crore, surpassing Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara in its debut.

On Saturday, the film added Rs 32 crore, solidifying its success across theaters nationwide.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who had earlier noted that pre-bookings were not very strong, shared a detailed update on the film’s performance. He tweeted, "#Dhurandhar goes on a rampage on Saturday — unstoppable at the box office… Major cities led the way on Friday, followed by strong growth in smaller towns."

About the Film

In Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh portrays a hero taking on four of Pakistan’s deadliest terrorists. While fans speculated on the real-life inspirations behind the characters, the makers have not officially confirmed any identities. The protagonist, reportedly inspired by Major Mohit Sharma, is a fictional creation, as confirmed by the Censor Board.
