Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's debut film, Saiyaara, kicked off with an impressive Rs 20 crore opening, making it the fourth highest Day 1 grosser of the year, trailing only Chhaava, Sikandar, and Housefull 5.

Though it had decent buzz and solid bookings, the scale of the opening exceeded industry predictions. Backed by Yash Raj Studios and helmed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara has delivered a breakout start at the box office. 

While Aneet has prior experience in Big Girls Don’t Cry and Salaam Venky, this marks Ahaan’s debut, surpassing even cousin Ananya Panday’s opening numbers.
