Made on a budget of Rs. 50 crores, it grossed an impressive Rs. 135 crores within just three days.

The movie showed promise from the premiere itself, raking in Rs. 51 crores on the first day alone. This level of collection is something even recent films from Bollywood's biggest stars haven't achieved. The fact that the release coincided with a five-day holiday period has also worked in its favor. Stree 2 has successfully joined the ranks of all the films released on August 15.
