Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 has surpassed Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 two-week box office record, earning Rs 141.15 crore net in 14 days, compared to Gadar 2’s Rs 134.47 crore net. However, Baahubali 2 (Hindi) remains the top two-week performer with Rs 143.25 crore net.

The film is approaching Rs 500 crore and is now the seventh Hindi film to join the Rs 400 crore club, joining hits like Jawan, Pathaan, and KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi). With its remarkable performance, Stree 2 has surpassed the lifetime Hindi collection of KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 427 crore) and is on track to record the biggest third week in Hindi cinema. The film might soon join the ranks of the highest Hindi box office earners, potentially surpassing Animal (Rs 502 crore), Baahubali 2 (Hindi) (Rs 510 crore), Pathaan (Rs 513 crore), and even Gadar 2 (Rs 515 crore). There’s also a possibility that it could dethrone Jawan, which holds the record with Rs 554 crore.
