In its second week, the film garnered ₹12.26 crore, showing a slight decline typical for films after their debut weekend, yet positive word-of-mouth continued to draw audiences back, reinforcing its cult classic status.

During its third weekend, Tumbbad collected ₹2.8 crore from Friday to Sunday, demonstrating impressive staying power in a competitive market. Re-released on September 13, 2024, the film showcases the eerie world crafted by director Rahi Anil Barve.
