Good Bad Ugly has made a stellar debut at the box office, with Ajith Kumar’s latest mass entertainer earning ₹28.50 crore domestically on its opening day. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film was highly anticipated and marks Ajith’s triumphant return after his previous film, Vidaamuyarchi, underperformed earlier this year.

The movie had a strong showing on day 1, registering an average theatre occupancy of 76%, with peak numbers in cities like Chennai and Coimbatore, where evening shows saw over 95% occupancy. This has made Good Bad Ugly Ajith's highest opening-day gross, surpassing Valimai (₹28 crore) from 2022.

In addition to its domestic success, the film is expected to perform strongly overseas. Good Bad Ugly is an action-comedy starring Ajith Kumar alongside Prabhu, Prasanna, and Arjun Das. Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series Films produced the film.

The film has been praised for its stylish presentation and mass appeal, with critics noting Ajith's return to his iconic commercial entertainer persona.
