Rajinikanth’s latest release Coolie has maintained an impressive streak at the ticket window, holding its ground against heavy competition like War 2. The film, which premiered on August 14 as part of the superstar’s 50-year milestone in cinema, has already notched up ₹216 crore net in India within six days, while the worldwide tally has soared past ₹400 crore.

The opening day brought in a massive ₹65 crore, followed by ₹54.75 crore on day two, ₹39.50 crore on day three, ₹35.25 crore on day four, ₹12 crore on day five, and ₹9.50 crore on day six.

Despite the gradual slowdown, Coolie still stands tall as one of the biggest earners of Rajinikanth’s career.

The narrative revolves around Deva (Rajinikanth), an ex-union leader who takes on mob boss Simon (Nagarjuna) while seeking justice for a fallen comrade. The star-studded cast also includes Aamir Khan, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj.
