Rajinikanth's Coolie has crossed the 259 crore mark in India, achieving this milestone in only 12 days since its release. The Lokesh Kanagaraj film continues to perform strongly in its second week.
Rajinikanth’s Tamil action thriller Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures, has earned ₹259.87 crore in India in 12 days. Released on August 14, 2025, it opened with ₹65 crore, led by Tamil ₹44.5 crore, Telugu ₹15.5 crore, Hindi ₹4.5 crore, and Kannada ₹0.5 crore.
Starring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra, with special appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde, the film follows Devaraj, a former coolie leader, uncovering a criminal network. Shot across multiple cities, with music by Anirudh Ravichander, Coolie continues strong in its second week.
