Rajinikanth’s Coolie has stormed the box office, raking in over ₹380 crore worldwide in its opening weekend, leaving War 2 trailing behind. In Nizamabad alone, the film drew ₹1.6 crore on Sunday, pushing its four-day total across all languages to ₹12 crore, despite a slight drop from Saturday’s ₹2.65 crore.

Meanwhile, War 2 managed approximately ₹10 crore in the same area.  With Monday’s figures expected to drop, the final winner is yet to be seen.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie stars Rajinikanth alongside Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Rachitha Ram. Sun Pictures is backing this new project, with Anirudh Ravichander set to compose the soundtrack.
