Jananayagan Advance Booking Collection Hits Rs 15 Cr Ahead of January 9 Release

Jana Nayagan is a political action drama helmed by Vijay along with director H Vinod. This project marks Vijay’s final appearance on screen, as he is currently concentrating on his political commitments.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on January 9 as a Sankranthi release, arriving in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi versions. Advance ticket sales for the Tamil edition have already begun across several countries. Trade analysts report that the film has generated around Rs 15 crore through advance bookings so far.

There has been widespread speculation suggesting that Jana Nayagan could be a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Bhagwant Kesari. However, no formal confirmation has been issued. Addressing these rumors, H Vinod stated that he would neither confirm nor deny the claims. He emphasized that it is a Thalapathy film and urged audiences not to worry about whether it is a remake of any existing movie. He encouraged viewers to watch the film and judge it for themselves.

The official trailer is set to be released on January 3, which is expected to provide clearer insight into the film’s storyline and nature.
