Released on September 20, 'Lubber Pandu' starring Harish Kalyan and Dinesh has emerged as one of the standout Tamil films of 2024. This rural cricket drama, filled with romance, comedy, and sentiment, has received positive audience feedback and strong reviews, grossing over Rs 40 crore during its theatrical run, with ongoing screenings in major centers like Chennai.

Initially slated for an OTT release on October 18, the digital debut has been postponed due to the film's box office success, with hopes of surpassing Rs 50 crore. The film is now expected to be available for streaming after Diwali.

Directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, 'Lubber Pandu' addresses themes of street cricket and caste discrimination, featuring performances from Swastika, Sanjana, Kaali Venkat, Bala Saravanan, and Devadarshini, with music by Sean Roldan.
