The film has particularly excelled in Tamil markets, outpacing expectations compared to 'Indian 2,' with Rs 41.7 crore net from Tamil Nadu and Rs 47.90 crore overall.

The film is set to surpass the lifetime gross of Dhanush’s 'Captain Miller' (Rs 75 crore) and is nearing the total of 'Ayaalan' (Rs 76.60 crore). With its current momentum, 'Raayan' could soon challenge the global earnings of 'Indian 2,' which grossed approximately Rs 145 crore.
