Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' Hits Rs 100 Crore in Dussehra Weekend
Rajinikanth's film 'Vettaiyan' has grossed Rs 104.8 crore domestically in just four days, despite mixed reviews.
Released on October 10, it benefited from a solo Dussehra release and consistently earned in double digits.
The film made Rs 22.25 crore nett on October 13. Here’s the breakdown of its earnings:
Day 1: Rs 31.7 crore
Day 2: Rs 24 crore
Day 3: Rs 26.75 crore
Day 4: Rs 22.25 crore
Total: Rs 104.8 crore
With a 57.25% occupancy rate on Sunday, ‘Vettaiyan’ features a stellar cast and is produced by Lyca Productions. It is now the second-biggest Tamil opening of 2024, and its weekday performance will be closely watched.
