Daaku Maharaaj Box Office Day 5: Balakrishna’s Film Crosses Rs 65 Crore

Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj continues to be a hit, crossing Rs 65 crore globally. After a strong start, the film saw a drop in occupancy on Day 5, with a 40% decline, earning Rs 6 crore worldwide. Despite the dip, it performed well in regions like Ceded and has grossed over $1.5 million in the US.

The film has been praised for its balanced portrayal of Balakrishna in a mass role, with no over-the-top action or dialogues. Directed by Bobby Kolli, Daaku Maharaaj is expected to pick up momentum over the weekend.

A grand celebration is planned as the film nears Rs 100 crore in worldwide collections. Balakrishna’s fourth consecutive hit, the film also features Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal, and music by Thaman. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the movie has already turned a profit, with Netflix securing its OTT rights.
