Day 1 Box Office Report: Raja Saab Registers Huge Opening Across India

Tollywood star Prabhas’s latest movie Raja Saab hit screens yesterday with a massive release. On its opening day, the film witnessed a very strong response at the box office. Trade circles report that the movie posted impressive numbers on Day 1, living up to the high expectations of fans.

As per figures shared by film tracking platform SACNILK, the movie collected approximately Rs 45 crore net across India on its first day. When earnings from premiere shows are added, the total rises to nearly Rs 54 crore. In addition, the film is estimated to have recorded a worldwide gross opening of about Rs 90 crore.

Festive scenes at theatres as fans celebrate

The release of Raja Saab turned theatres into celebration hubs. Large crowds of Prabhas fans gathered to watch the film, particularly in the Telugu-speaking regions and other key centers. Trade experts note that the movie is receiving encouraging feedback from mass audiences.

Different ticket pricing in two states

Following the release, ticket pricing once again became a talking point. While higher ticket rates remain in effect in Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana High Court has temporarily put on hold the order permitting a price increase. As a result, moviegoers in Telangana are purchasing tickets at standard rates. Industry observers believe collections may climb further over the weekend and festive period. If positive word of mouth continues, trade analysts feel the film could soon enter the billion club.
