Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu, earned Rs 23.75 crore in India across all languages during its opening weekend. Kannappa maintained a steady box office trend with Rs 9.35 crore on Day 1, Rs 7.15 crore on Day 2, and an early estimate of Rs 7.25 crore on Day 3, bringing its opening weekend total to Rs 23.75 crore.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, the film portrays the powerful tale of Thinna, a fearless hunter whose path leads him to become a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. 

The ensemble cast boasts big names like Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.

Filmed against the scenic landscapes of New Zealand and scored by Stephen Devassy, Kannappa earned attention for its ambitious retelling of a legendary tale.
