Khaleja Re Release Crosses ₹6.8 Cr In 2 Days, Creates Box Office Sensation
Mahesh Babu’s cult classic Khaleja earns ₹6.8 crore worldwide in just two days after its 4K re-release. The film sets new records in North America and Indian cities.

Although it underperformed at the box office in 2010, Khaleja has since earned a cult following and lasting popularity. Re-released on the occasion of Superstar Krishna's birthday, the film has shocked everyone with its strong box office comeback. It earned ₹5.80 crore worldwide on Day 1, marking the second-highest opening for a Tollywood re-release, just behind Gabbar Singh.
On Day 2, the film collected an additional ₹1 crore, pushing the total to ₹6.80 crore globally. Khaleja set overseas records, grossing over $100,000 in North America. Major cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, and Guntur also reported solid numbers.
More than 20,000 tickets were sold via BookMyShow, showcasing the film's continued popularity. Analysts predict the total run could cross ₹8 crore, placing Khaleja among the top 3 Tollywood re-releases of all time, even outperforming new releases like Bhairavam.
