Mahesh Babu’s classic Khaleja, which had a poor response during its original release, made a strong comeback in its re-release. The film earned ₹5.32 crore on Day 1, ₹1.20 crore on Day 2, ₹78 lakh on Day 3, and ₹20 lakh on Day 4 (a working Monday), totaling ₹7.5 crore worldwide in four days.

While the response in Andhra Pradesh was mixed, overseas collections were exceptional, especially in North America, where it grossed over $100,000, a record for a re-release.

Khaleja has secured the 4th spot in the list of highest-grossing re-released films, following Murari (₹9 crore), Gabbar Singh (₹8 crore), and Khushi (₹7.7 crore). Analysts say collections may drop post-weekend, but fans believe a birthday re-release could have doubled the numbers.
