Khaleja Re Release Sets Overseas Record, Eyes 10 Crore Milestone

Khaleja Re-release Breaks North America Record, Eyes 10 Cr Milestone

Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja, once considered a commercial failure, has gained cult classic status over time. Fans long awaited its re-release, which finally happened on Superstar Krishna’s birthday. While the film didn’t break re-release records in Telugu states, it received an overwhelming response overseas, especially in North America.

Khaleja grossed $80,000 from premieres and the first day, surpassing Gabbar Singh’s $65,000 and setting a new overseas record. In Telugu states, it earned around 5 crore, including premieres, and 6 crore worldwide when combined with Karnataka and other regions.

While it hasn't surpassed Gabbar Singh’s 8 crore re-release record yet, trade experts predict Khaleja might soon become the first Tollywood re-release to cross the 10 crore global mark.
