Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom released with high expectations and managed solid opening day collections of Rs 38 crore worldwide. Despite Hollywood-style promotional content, the film received poor feedback for its weak second half. While reviews were not outright negative, they couldn’t mask the mixed word-of-mouth.

Day 2 saw a steep drop, with collections failing to cross Rs 10 crore, bringing the total to around Rs 47 crore in two days, less than Hit 3's Rs 50 crore on Day 1. Unlike Nani, who had recent hits, Vijay has been delivering flops, which affected audience pull beyond Day 1. His fan base ensured the opening, but lacking wider appeal and strong word-of-mouth, the film's momentum stalled.

As of now, Kingdom has grossed around Rs 47 crore in two days. Only a strong weekend can help it near break-even.
