When announced, Mirai seemed like another action-fantasy drama, but it surprised audiences with stunning visuals and strong storytelling. Led by Teja Sajja and directed by Kartik Gattamneni, with Manchu Manoj as the antagonist, the film opened strongly and maintained steady box office numbers.

Within five days, Mirai crossed Rs. 100 crore worldwide—a rare feat for a young lead actor—and surpassed $2 million in North America, marking Teja Sajja’s second film to hit this milestone.

The film also stars Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram, with music by Gowra Hari and production by People Media Factory.
