Nithiin’s Thammudu, released on July 4 and directed by Venu Sriram, opened poorly with around ₹4 crore on day one, his lowest ever, even below Robin Hood (₹4.8 crore).

Hoping for a comeback after flops post-Bheeshma and Rang De, Nithiin reunited with producer Dil Raju (MCA, Vakeel Saab), but the film disappointed.

With over ₹50 crore reportedly spent and just ₹20 crore in market returns, this marks another setback for both Nithiin and Dil Raju, already facing losses from Game Changer.
