Sithara Entertainments Acquires Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Vrushakarma’ Rights for 45 Crore

Hyderabad: Sithara Entertainments has secured the theatrical distribution rights for actor Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming mythological action thriller Vrushakarma in a major deal valued at ₹45 crore. The agreement covers the key Telugu markets of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, marking the highest regional distribution deal in Naga Chaitanya’s career so far.

The film is directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, who gained widespread recognition for the blockbuster supernatural thriller Virupaksha. Backed by a substantial production budget of approximately ₹110 crore, Vrushakarma is being positioned as one of the most ambitious projects in Naga Chaitanya’s filmography.

Recently released promotional content for the film, including a glimpse video, has already generated significant buzz online, crossing more than 20 million views across digital platforms. The strong response from fans has further heightened expectations around the project.

According to trade estimates, the film’s worldwide Telugu theatrical business is currently valued at around ₹53 crore. Industry analysts suggest that Vrushakarma would need to collect close to ₹100 crore at the box office to achieve break-even status.

With growing anticipation among fans and strong market demand, the project is shaping up to be a major release in the Telugu film industry.
