Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, had an incredible opening on its first day, breaking box office records across multiple languages. The film grossed approximately Rs 93 crores in the Telugu states, with houseful shows in even the smallest centers. In Tamil Nadu, it matched Suriya’s Kanguva with a collection of Rs 10.72 crore on its first day, while in Karnataka, it grossed Rs 18 crore across Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada versions. The film also had a strong opening in Kerala, with Rs 6.56 crore.

In Bollywood, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 87 crore on its first day, marking a record in the region. Overseas, the Hindi version performed exceptionally well as well. Overall, the film grossed Rs 283 crore globally, surpassing RRR's opening record of Rs 243 crore. The massive success has shaken not only Tollywood but also Bollywood, making it a tough challenge for future films.
