The Conjuring series is among the most popular Hollywood franchises in India. The first film, released on July 13, 2013, impressed audiences with its thrilling horror experience. Its sequel came out on June 10, 2016, followed by the third part on June 4, 2021.

The latest installment, The Conjuring – Last Rites, premiered yesterday to an overwhelming response.

The movie debuted in India with a first-day collection of ₹21 crore, netting ₹18 crore, outpacing titles such as Ghati, Madrasi, and Baaghi 4.

Released across 2,200 screens—a notable achievement for a Hollywood horror—it saw robust attendance: 61% overall for 2D shows, 44% in the morning, 78% at night, 49% for the Hindi-dubbed version, and an impressive 91% in 4Dx screenings.
