Murshid trailer release
The trailer for the thriller "Murshid," starring Kay Kay Menon and Tanuj Virwani, was released on August 20 by G5. Set in the dark world of Mumbai's crime scene, it follows retired don Murshid Pathan (Kay Kay Menon) as he is drawn back into danger when his son is implicated in a dangerous plot by his old rival, Farid (Zakir Hussain). Murshid's adopted son, Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana (Tanuj Virwani), must navigate his own doubts and loyalties while a scheming politician, Jayendra (Rajesh Sringakpure), furthers his ambitions. Menon describes playing Murshid as thrilling, portraying a former gangster turned philanthropist who returns to the criminal underworld to protect his family. "Murshid" will debut on Zee5 on August 30.
