Aamir Khan's Tap Dance Journey for Dhoom 3
Aamir Khan trained for 45 days in modern tap dancing for Dhoom 3, learning in Mumbai and Australia, though he preferred the classical style of Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire.

Aamir Khan shared his experience of learning tap dancing for Dhoom 3, revealing that he had just 45 days to master the form. While he envisioned classical tap dance inspired by Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire, director Aditya Chopra preferred modern tap, which involves stomping. To prepare, Aamir trained in Mumbai before heading to Australia for a month, practicing alongside seasoned dancers. Despite his limited time, he worked hard to match the professionals. He admitted he wanted a more lyrical style but hopes to explore it in a future film.
