Abhishek Bachchan Responds to Comparisons with Family and Discusses Career Legacy

Abhishek Bachchan Responds to Comparisons with Family

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan recently participated in an interview where he responded to comparisons made between him and his wife, Aishwarya Rai, in terms of their careers. He stated that such comparisons are not easy to handle. Despite this, he expressed immense pride in his family.

"Since the start of my career, I have been compared to my family members. I am often asked, 'Don’t you get compared to your family?' Honestly, it's not that simple. Initially, it was very difficult for me. Over time, I changed my perspective. In my eyes, my father is the best. If people compare me to him, I am happy that others consider me worthy of that comparison. I am very proud of my family and wife, and I am happy with their achievements and future work," said Abhishek. He also mentioned that he wishes to continue working like his father, even in his 80s.

Even at the age of 80, my father continues to work, doing films and shows, and remains an inspiration to many. Similarly, I want to continue working at that age, setting an example for my daughter, Aaradhya. I have great respect for my family. It is because of them that I am where I am today. I will always honor their decisions. I will continue to work to carry forward the love and respect my grandfather gave us," he added. Abhishek’s latest film, I Want to Talk, directed by Sujit Sarkar, featured him in the role of a father named Arjun. Released last year, the film received mixed responses.
