Akshay Kumar's Bhagam Bhag 2 has been announced, and it is set to go on floors in 2025, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter India.The sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2006 comedy, featuring stars like Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, and Arbaaz Khan, is currently in its final scripting phase.The rights to the film were recently acquired by producer Sarita Ashwin Varde from Shemaroo Entertainment, and further details are awaited.

Bhagam Bhag is one of Priyadarshan’s popular comedies, adapted from the Malayalam film Mannar Mathai Speaking. The plot revolves around a theatre group traveling to London to organize a show. However, two actors in the group are caught up in a mystery involving a murder, for which they are wrongly accused.The original Bhagam Bhag was a box-office success and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
