Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is looking to bounce back from recent box office struggles with his upcoming film, backed by Dharma Productions. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is inspired by C. Sankaran Nair, a prominent lawyer and former President of the Indian National Congress, who sought justice for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.

Alongside Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday are featured in key roles, enhancing this historical drama's depth. Scheduled for release on March 14, 2025, the untitled film is co-produced by Kumar’s Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective.
