Akshay Kumar Shares Kesari 2 Update, Fans Can't Wait For The Sequel

Akshay Kumar has shared an exciting update on the highly anticipated sequel to his 2019 blockbuster Kesari. On the film's 6th anniversary, Akshay took to Instagram to announce that Kesari 2 is on the way, teasing fans with a message about the sequel's details, set to be revealed soon.

Kesari, which told the heroic tale of 21 Sikh soldiers in the British Indian Army at the Battle of Saragarhi in 1897, continues to be celebrated for its emotional and gripping storytelling. Directed by Anurag Singh, it starred Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh, alongside Parineeti Chopra.

The sequel, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, will feature Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday. Kesari 2 is expected to focus on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and is set for release in April 2025. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details about this next chapter.
