Alia Bhatt appeared in a campaign video by the Chandigarh division of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), urging people to say no to drugs. What was intended as a positive message faced online backlash, leading the NCB to turn off comments on the post.
The video, shared on NCB’s X account, has over 1.1 million views and 680+ shares. Alia urged everyone to join the fight against drug abuse, saying, “Stand with the Narcotics Control Bureau and choose life over drugs. Make your commitment official by taking the e-pledge through the QR code or link.” Jai Hind.”
The comment section was quickly disabled after trolls mocked the video, calling it ‘ironic’ or ‘funny,’ though other NCB Chandigarh posts remained open for comments.
