Ananya Panday Talks About Apps She Thinks Should Disappear
Ananya Panday, who recently starred in CTRL, a cyber-thriller directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, shared her thoughts on apps that shouldn't exist during a fun interview with Instant Bollywood.

Ananya initially named Reddit but then switched to Photoshop, explaining she wanted to see how people look without filters. She later clarified that she meant photo editing apps in general. Motwane added that he believes the X platform should not exist.
CTRL, which premiered on Netflix on October 4, explores the dangers of technology and the effects of social media. In a separate interview, Motwane revealed the film's original ending, which involved Nella seeking revenge, but he decided her story should remain a cautionary tale instead.
Motwane shared that bringing the film to life involved extensive research, especially on social media and influencers, and credited Sumukhi Suresh and Ananya for their contributions. Ananya, discussing her role as Nella, explained that the character reflects many's struggles in navigating their online and real-life personas.
