Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Writer Manoj Santoshi Passes Away After Battling Liver Cancer
Renowned TV writer Manoj Santoshi, known for Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, passed away in Aligarh after battling liver cancer.

The Indian television industry has suffered a huge loss with the passing of Manoj Santoshi, a key writer of the popular sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. According to India Forums, Manoj Santoshi had been battling liver cancer for a long time but unfortunately succumbed to the disease on Monday. He took his last breath in his hometown, Aligarh, surrounded by his loving family during his final moments.
A source from the production team of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai confirmed his passing to India Forums. The source stated that Manoj Santoshi passed away early Monday morning in Aligarh, with his family by his side. As of now, neither the production house nor the cast of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai has made an official announcement, but the news has deeply saddened the Indian television industry.
Last month, the news of Manoj Santoshi’s battle with liver cancer became public when actress Kavita Kaushik urged fans on Instagram to pray for his recovery. She also acknowledged the care and support he received from producer Binaifer Kohli and actress Shilpa Shinde. Manoj Santoshi was a talented screenwriter known for writing hit sitcoms like Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Jijaji Chhat Par Hai, and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. His work brought joy to millions, and his contributions to Indian television will be greatly missed.
