Tollywood is on alert as the coronavirus is resurging, with over 250 active cases reported across the country, including the Telugu states. Recently, a woman in Andhra Pradesh tested positive, raising concerns in the region.

The film industry is also affected; Bollywood actress and Bigg Boss 18 contestant Namrata Shirodkar announced her Covid infection on social media.

Now, another well-known actress, Nikita Dutta—famous for Kabir Singh and The Jewel Thief—has tested positive along with her mother.

Nikita revealed that they are experiencing mild symptoms and are currently isolating at home, while advising everyone to remain vigilant and careful. She has recovered from Covid before and is vaccinated.
