Bollywood Remake of Baby to Star Babil Khan and Kriti Shetty

The film Baby, starring Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead role, achieved remarkable success at the box office. Directed by Sai Rajesh, the film became a huge hit, earning massive collections. Vaishnavi, who had previously acted in several films as a character artist, got her breakthrough as a heroine with Baby. This sudden success made her a popular name in Tollywood, and she is now among the most sought-after actresses in the industry, with multiple projects in hand. Anand Deverakonda played the main hero in the film, which earned around ₹100 crores globally, further enhancing his fame.

The movie is set to be remade in Hindi, a process that has been in the works for some time. The Hindi version of Baby will be produced by SKN and directed by Sai Rajesh himself. Initial reports suggested that Bollywood star kids Ishaan Khattar, Bobby Deol’s son Aryaman Deol, and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda would play the lead roles. However, it has now been confirmed that Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, will take on the role instead, as he aims to make a mark as an actor like his late father.

For the role of the heroine in the Hindi remake, initially, Khushi Kapoor was considered. However, recent reports indicate that Kriti Shetty is in talks for the role, and she is almost confirmed to be part of the project. SKN will be collaborating with a Bollywood production house for the Hindi version of the film. Sai Rajesh, who is already making waves in the Telugu film industry, will be expanding into Bollywood with this project. The film's strong connection with the youth audience in the Telugu version raises expectations for the Hindi remake as well.
