Bollywood is gearing up to bring 'Ramayana' back to the Indian screen with Ranbir Kapoor starring as Rama. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for 'Dangal,' this upcoming epic will also feature Sai Pallavi as Sita and possibly Kannada star Yash as Ravana. The film will be shot in 3-D, with 12 elaborate sets being constructed in Mumbai, including recreations of Ayodhya and Mithila. Planned for release in two parts, the first installment is expected to hit theaters in December. The film is produced by Yash's Monster Mind Creations and Prime Focus Studios, marking a significant budget for Indian cinema.
