Boney Kapoor Reveals Truth Behind Sridevi's Death

Boney Kapoor has revealed new details about his late wife Sridevi's tragic death, shedding light on her health struggles due to strict crash diets. He shared how Sridevi was often obsessed with her appearance, following extreme diets that led to low blood pressure and occasional blackouts. Despite warnings from doctors, she continued with the severe diets, sometimes avoiding salt to stay in shape for her on-screen roles.

Boney also recalled an incident shared by Telugu actor Nagarjuna, who told him that Sridevi fell in the bathroom while on a crash diet during a film shoot with him, resulting in broken teeth and the need for artificial caps.

Sridevi tragically passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, with initial reports citing cardiac arrest. However, investigations later concluded that the cause of death was accidental drowning, with traces of alcohol found in her system and water in her lungs.
