Singer Chinmayi Sripada hit back at criticism over Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram, despite being a beef-eater. Responding to a social media post, she called out society’s hypocrisy, ignoring crimes by religious figures while targeting actors' food choices.

Her comments sparked online debate, with mixed reactions. Undeterred, Chinmayi stood her ground, stating, “Those misusing God’s name are being exposed.”

The film, with music by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, is set for a Diwali 2025 release.
