Deepika Padukone’s upcoming projects

Deepika welcomed her first child, daughter Dua, in 2024 and has stayed away from film releases since then. She is now preparing to return to the big screen with Siddharth Anand’s King. The film features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, along with Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Arshad Warsi in important roles. Currently in production, the movie is expected to hit theatres in 2026.

Earlier, Deepika was expected to be part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and the sequel to Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. However, reports suggest she exited both projects after her request for an eight-hour work schedule was not accepted. She is now set to appear opposite Allu Arjun in Atlee’s highly anticipated AA22 x A6, where she will be seen in a high-energy action role. The film is slated for release in 2027.
