Deepika Padukone is reportedly facing setbacks in major projects due to her demand for shorter work hours post-motherhood. After being dropped from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit for similar reasons, fresh reports suggest her role in Kalki 2 may be reduced or removed due to friction on set.

In Spirit, she was allegedly replaced by Tripti Dimri after requesting an eight-hour workday, a high salary, and profit share—demands that the filmmaker reportedly didn’t agree with.

Meanwhile, Kalki 2 is already facing delays due to Prabhas' packed schedule with projects like The Raja Saab and Fauji, leaving the production team struggling to move forward.
