Dhurandhar 2 Cast Salary: Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt Pay Details Revealed

Dhurandhar 2 cast remuneration details featuring Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt

The much-anticipated sequel to the spy action thriller Dhurandhar has finally arrived, continuing the momentum built by its predecessor. Premiere shows were held across several parts of India; however, the Telugu version premieres were cancelled due to delays in print delivery. Regular screenings for the Telugu version are scheduled to begin from Thursday morning.

The film has already generated significant buzz, particularly for its gripping narrative and suspenseful execution. Notably, the director maintains intrigue until the very end, keeping major twists undisclosed even during promotions. Alongside the film’s reception, details regarding the cast’s remuneration have surfaced and are gaining widespread attention.

Unlike many recent pan-India projects, Dhurandhar and its sequel were not shot separately. Instead, both parts were filmed simultaneously, with minor patchwork completed last month. Reports indicate that actors were compensated collectively for both installments.

Ranveer Singh, who portrays dual roles as Hamza Ali and Jaskirat Singh, reportedly received a remuneration in the range of Rs 40–50 crore. Akshaye Khanna, whose portrayal of the dacoit Rahman stands out as a key highlight, was paid approximately Rs 5 crore. Although his character concludes in the first half of the story, he is expected to reappear in flashback sequences in the sequel.

Sanjay Dutt delivers a powerful performance as SP Aslam Choudhary and reportedly earned Rs 10 crore for his role. R. Madhavan, who plays Intelligence Bureau chief Ajay Sanyal, received Rs 9 crore. Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun, who portray Major Iqbal, were each paid around Rs 1 crore.

There is no confirmed information regarding the remuneration of director and producer Aditya Dhar. However, his reputation in the industry has significantly strengthened following this project, and expectations around his future ventures have increased accordingly.

The storyline of Dhurandhar revolves around India’s Intelligence Bureau chief Ajay Sanyal, who is determined to eliminate terrorism in response to repeated attacks allegedly linked to Pakistan. As part of Operation Dhurandhar, a jailed youth is sent across the border under a false identity by Agent Hamza.

The narrative explores Rahman’s transformation from a juice vendor into a close associate of a notorious gangster, detailing the challenges he faces along the way. The first installment concludes with Hamza eliminating Rahman. The sequel is expected to delve deeper into Hamza’s evolution and his mission to dismantle remaining terrorist networks threatening India.
