Dhurandhar Parts 1 and 2 may arrive as one Movie, know run time and more info

Rumours indicate Dhurandhar could feature a 7.5-hour extended version in IMAX

Rumours surrounding the upcoming film Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, have been gaining significant attention online. Reports suggest that the makers are considering releasing an extended “Director’s Cut” version of the film, with an extraordinary runtime of approximately seven hours and thirty minutes.

If confirmed, this extended edition would be showcased exclusively on premium large-screen formats such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, HDR, and EPIQ. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar, who is reportedly keen on incorporating nearly all filmed sequences, including several key scenes that may not appear in the standard theatrical release.

While Hollywood has previously witnessed similar extended editions—most notably with Justice League—this could mark a rare and ambitious move within Indian cinema. However, it is important to note that the production team has not issued any official confirmation regarding these reports.

If the extended cut becomes a reality, it will raise interesting questions about audience viewing preferences—whether viewers would choose to experience the film in a single sitting or in multiple segments with breaks. Given the film’s reported emphasis on high-intensity action and visually rich sequences, anticipation among fans continues to build for what could be a groundbreaking cinematic experience.
